Vatican Cover-Up of Rabbi Heschel Duplicity

Google books has a preview of the Rabbi Abraham Heschel biography Spiritual radical: Abraham Joshua Heschel in America, 1940-1972 by Edward K. Kaplan which I've referenced HERE and HERE. Kaplan is a devotee of Heschel and therefore apologetic in his narrative of Heschel's outrageous duplicity and anti-Christian hostility which should have been the end of the Judeo-Christian 'dialogue' fraud. Nevertheless, the facts are there, more than enough to ascertain that the image of the "elder brother" and maintaining 'dialogue' trumps the welfare of souls in the Vatican. Pages 266-274 are of the essence:

Time Magazine Puffs Up Talmudic Business "Ethics"

Skull and Bones Henry Luce founded Time magazine takes its duplicity to new lows with some timely puff-journalism for talmudic business "ethics." Even now we're led to believe that the Talmud lights the way out of the pit it has led us into.

This would have been readily detected as fraud by any moderately informed person until fairly recently. Not so in the days when the pope invites the rabbis to teach the Bible to us calling them "brothers in the faith." Could it hurt much worse to also make them the arbiters of business ethics? They're so holy, wise and benevolent--so the bishops say--that only a "'Jew' hater" would ask questions or point out the chasm between Time's Orwellian prose and the realities of talmudic business "ethics" teaching, not to mention actual Orthodox Judaic business practices, of which Rubashkin makes a perfect example.

Being that the U.S. is now trillions of dollars in debt to bankers I searched Time's article to see what it had to say about the rabbinic "Prozbul" and found nothing. The "Prozbul" is the legal fiction concocted by Hillel the Pharisee which reassures bankers that Deuteronomy 15 can not be invoked by those in debt to them. In a turn of duplicity which must be seen as the model for the same exhibited by Time magazine, Talmud states: "Hillel established the prozbul in order to repair the world" (Mishnah Gittin 4;3). In other words, the world has been "repaired" (tikkun olam) by the "liberal," "benevolent" Pharisee Hillel (often compared to Jesus Christ!?!) through his reassurance of bankers that the Bible can not interfere with them burying people in massive amounts of debt over the course of their entire lifetimes.

If you buy the diabolical lie that Hillel was a benevolent Pharisee and similar to Jesus Christ who drove the moneychangers out of the Temple with a whip and said that the Pharisees bind the people with heavy burdens, then why not consult a rabbi for talmudic advice on how to get out of the present debt catastrophe as Time magazine recommends?

It's a list of "the world's most powerful people," 100 of the bankers and media moguls, publishers and image makers who shape the lives of billions. It's an exclusive, insular club, one whose influence stretches around the globe but is concentrated strategically in the highest corridors of power.

More than half its members, at least by one count, are Jewish.

It's a list, in other words, that would have made earlier generations of Jews jump out of their skins, calling attention, as it does, to their disproportionate influence in finance and the media. Making matters worse, in the eyes of many, would no doubt be the identity of the group behind the list - not a pack of fringe anti-Semites but one of the most mainstream, glamorous publications on the newsstands.

Yet the list doesn't appear to have generated concern so far, instead drawing expressions of satisfaction and pride from the lone Jewish commentator who's responded in writing.

Published between ads for Chanel and Prada, Dior and Yves Saint Laurent, it's the 2007 version of "The Vanity Fair 100," the glossy American magazine's annual October ranking of the planet's most important people. Populated by a Cohen and a Rothschild, a Bloomberg and a Perelman, the list would seem to conform to all the traditional stereotypes about areas of Jewish overrepresentation.

Joseph Aaron, the editor of The Chicago Jewish News, thinks it's a list his readers should "feel very, very good about" ...

And how did Lustiger "resolve" the "crisis prompted by an attempt by Carmelite nuns to open a convent near Auschwitz in 1984:"

[Lustiger] had earlier been involved in the dispute over a convent of Carmelite nuns that had been installed in 1984 near the Auschwitz concentration camp. Many in the Polish church believed that a convent at Auschwitz was justified because Poles had died there. But many Jewish leaders were outraged, saying that 9 of every 10 camp inmates had been Jews.

Roman Catholic prelates, including Cardinal Lustiger, and representatives of Jewish organizations worked out an agreement to move the convent, but the plan was thrown into doubt in 1989 when Cardinal Jozef Glemp of Poland ruled out a move. Cardinal Lustiger pressed John Paul to intervene, and in 1993 the pope ordered the Carmelites to move, resolving the crisis. (John Tagliabue, New York Times, August 6, 2007)

Top French Catholic prelate dies

One of France's most senior Catholics, Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, has died in Paris at the age of 80.

The former archbishop of the French capital died on Sunday in a clinic to which he was admitted in April.

He was born Aaron Lustiger to Polish Jews who had settled in France before World War I, converting to Catholicism at the start of World War II ...

The prelate told priests and deacons in October 2006 that he was receiving treatment for an unspecified "serious illness".

The last time he was seen in public was in January this year ...
