Pope Foxman is Deeply Disturbed

The Kvetching Pope, Abe Foxman has issued another of his kvetching edicts, this one titled, "ADL Deeply Disturbed by Archbishop's Remarks Likening Politicians in Trinidad and Tobago to Jews":

... Port of Spain Archbishop Edward Gilbert was reported to have [likened Trinidad and Tobago politicians to Jews] during a Jubilee Mass held October 24 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church in San Fernando to celebrate the 225th anniversary of the Roman Catholic mission there.

"The Jews were compassionate and caring for their own, they were compassionate and caring to the people of their nation, to the people of their race, to the people of their ethnic communities. However, that wasn't enough for Jesus. Jesus took that teaching and universalized it," Archbishop Gilbert told his congregation, according to a news report. "In many cases in this country, there are people who love one another, who are compassionate, but they have the mindset of the original Jewish people. They are good to their own ... but they have not universalized the concept of love."

Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, said the archbishop's statements as reported were "a disturbing repackaging of ancient anti-Jewish canards and supersessionist beliefs."

"Archbishop Gilbert devalues Judaism over and against Christianity," said Mr. Foxman. "The false notion that Jews only care about themselves and don't care enough about others is one of the major pillars of classical anti-Semitism."

"While the Catholic Church has made tremendous strides in countering anti-Jewish notions such as the belief that the advent of Christianity superseded Judaism, Archbishop Gilbert's statements show that he has not internalized the important reforms of Vatican II."

I agree that Pope Foxman is deeply disturbed and I would be happy to illustrate one of the many reasons why.

Above we see Pope Foxman in his edict to the Goyim proclaim that it's a damnable "major pillar of classical anti-Semitism" to recognize the fact that Judaism is not a universal religion but a tribal religion which teaches its adherents to favor the tribe over outsiders.

But over here, in Foxman's inter-office memo to the tribe not meant for Goy eyes to see, Foxman admonishes the tribe to not love universally because to do so is "Judaism lite" which "brushes past the theological significance of acting on behalf of Jews."

“What I’ve been critical of is those who have sold Judaism as, ‘All you have to do is love universally and that’s Judaism,’ ” Foxman said. “It’s not—it’s ersatz Judaism. It’s Judaism lite.” It also, Foxman added pointedly, has the potential to elevate political action on behalf of others while brushing past the theological significance of acting on behalf of Jews.

Tikkun Olam is a Tribal, not Universal, Concept

Evidently, Pope Foxman is deeply disturbed because he wants to enforce his tribal racket while defining it a damnable heresy for any outsider to recognize that fact. To paraphrase St. Augustine, by doing so, his madness, not innocence, is manifest.

I have often marveled at the word-magic I've read in pseudo-scholarly post-graduate volumes as they circle around the white elephant of Judaic tribalism (euphemized as "particularism") for hundreds of pages dedicated to mesmerizing the reader into the false belief that Judaism is a universal, progressive, enlightened religion.

The deeply disturbing part of it is the deception and browbeating of observers into not acknowledging what is plain before their eyes--that Judaism is the most un-universal religion in existence, if not in history. Every sane person knows it. Everyone who has lived among followers of the rabbis has experienced it. There are individual exceptions among "Jews," but as Foxman says in his inter-office memo, they are not really living according to true Judaism.

That this even has to be decoded is a testament to the state of degradation we've descended to. Of course Judaism is tribal; the word plainly means tribe-of-Judah-ism. It's about sustaining the tribe of counterfeit Judah at all costs. It's not about loving and serving God; loving ones non-Judaic neighbor as oneself or any such universal value.

Pray for Pope Foxman that God will relieve him of his deeply disturbed state and that he will cease his attempts to inculcate the same in us. Until he is miraculously healed, tell your friends, family and clergy to ignore the disturbed ravings of the self-chosen Pope Foxman.

Glenn Beck did a piece on Edward Bernays with conspicuous omissions typical to conservative commentary. He put great emphasis on Edward Bernays' relation to Sigmund Freud because this plays to the left-right dichotomy very well. But Beck didn't mention that Bernays is a descendant of the Orthodox Chief Rabbi of Hamburg, Isaac ben Jacob Bernays, because this would not serve the 'conservative' establishment promulgated delusion which bends reality to conform to a dialectic according to which 'liberal' 'Jews' wear the black hats while the Orthodox rabbis and their followers are pure light.

But if we're to understand Edward Bernays' extreme cynicism and contempt for common people and exploitation of them, this is best explained by the rabbinic teaching of his rabbinic ancestors according to which the common people (am haaretz) deserve no better than to be stabbed in the back "like a fish" (Babylonian Talmud, Pesachim 49b).

Another omission from Beck's piece: Sigmund Freud was a member of B'nai B'rith which was very supportive of his psychoanalytic theories. And Chief Rabbi of Hamburg, Isaac ben Jacob Bernays was the grandfather of Freud's wife, Martha Bernays. These are not inconsequential details that Beck left out.

Now that we've filled in some very large blanks we can begin to have a clearer vision of the matter. We're looking at the evolution of Judaic tribalism from its fake 'enlightenment' ('haskalah') period to the present. Rabbi Isaac ben Jacob Bernays (1792–1849), was a 'reformer' but in a limited sense. Like so many Judaic 'reformers' of his time period (Moses Hess is the standout) the reforms were meant primarily to unburden Judaic people from some of the crippling mandates of Orthodox halakah to facilitate some participation in 'Goy' culture for the advancement of tribal interests in a rapidly modernizing world when eradicating tribalism itself was, and still remains, the reform most wanting.

But what we get from the rabbis' porch 'Goy' Glenn Beck is a ridiculous conspiratorial worldview according to which 'secular' or 'reform' Jews' ally with Nazis and send pious Orthodox 'Jews' to 'death camps.' He's enforcing the foundational paranoia of the rabbinic racket which keeps 'Jews' in the ghetto under rabbinic tribal control. He's coaching his 'conservative' 'Goy' viewers to believe that there's great virtue in tribal Orthodox Judaism and that they should ally with it. This is why the wily Orthodox Rabbi Lapin happily joined Beck on his program and at his "Restoring Honor" rally.

Judaic tribalism is harmful to 'Jews' and non-'Jews' in both its 'Reform' and Orthodox mantles.

Judaic apologists for these reports are leading "goys" down a dead end, hairsplitting over the translation and etymology of the term "Cush" and whether this would directly translate to English as "nigger." This is besides the fact that a large percentage of Hebron settlers are from the U.S., speak English as their first language and have as clear an understanding of the meaning and use of the term "nigger" as any American.

Many settlers came from America, believing they were ordained by God to take back the whole of their biblical land, and if they cede ground in Hebron, then Jews could lose all of Israel. What we have here is a fine example of the dispensational, situation "ethics" aspect of Judaism at work. The Israeli "settlers" who today smear African people as "niggers" wouldn't dare use that term openly against African-Americans when they lived in Long Island, or Los Angeles. The Israeli dispensation is different than the "diaspora" U.S. dispensation. In the U.S. where Judaics are a small minority they form golems out of the many "tribes" and pit them against each other thereby strengthening their "tribe" and weakening the others. This is why in the U.S., African-Americans can often be seen with a rabbi's arm around them, kosher-approving them and empowering them, granting them nearly the same P.C. protected status that Judaics themselves enjoy.

But in Hebron, where Judaics are an empowered majority and the other tribes are already weakened and disadvantaged, the traditions and mandates of Judaism, which might otherwise cause a backlash if practiced openly where Judaics are a minority, come to the fore.

This dispensational system is clearly laid out by Moses Maimonides in the Mishneh Torah Avodat Kochavim where he mandates that Judaic doctors are forbidden from offering medical attention to dying non-Judaics, even for pay, plain and simple. But what is a Judaic doctor to do if following this crazy, racist mandate were to cause him difficulty or cause "The Jews" to be viewed negatively, say in a nation of empowered "Gentiles" where Judaics are a minority? Not only do they serve long and tiring hours in the reserve forces, and not only are they forced to deal with violent clashes with settlers, but now, Border Guard officers of Ethiopian descent are also faced with rising racism.

"Niggers don't expel Jews! This isn't what we brought you to Israel for!" are just some of the degrading slurs Border Guard officers reported hearing from masked settlers.

During the violent clashes between Israeli forces and settlers in Hebron on Tuesday "a bunch of veiled people started yelling at us: Who are you to expel us from our home? An Ethiopian does not expel a Jew! A nigger does not expel a Jew!" one Border Guard officer of Ethiopian descent recounted.

"I just didn't know what to do with myself," he said.

Officers 'deeply offended' by remarks

And it turns out this was not the only such incident to take place. Another officer reported that while arriving to make an arrest about a week and-a-half ago, a group of youths verbally attacked him saying, "Who told you to come and evacuate us? You Ethiopians. What are you, this State's niggers? Olmert's niggers?"

The officers said they were deeply offended by these remarks, but stressed that the ones making them were settler youths coming from outside of Hebron, and not the residents of the Jewish settlement or Kiryat Arba, who have treated them with respect.

Border Guard sources reported that racist remarks were also made against Druze soldiers. "We knew that this would happen so we instructed our officers in advance," said a source.

"We harshly condemn those extremists that bring a bad name to an entire public by using racial slurs against Border Guard fighters that spend night and day protecting residents of the West Bank.

"As part of the preparations for the mission the fighters were instructed to ignore such comments and carry out their mission with the utmost professionalism."

Russian archaeologists find long-lost Jewish capital

MOSCOW (AFP) - Russian archaeologists said Wednesday they had found the long-lost capital of the Khazar kingdom in southern Russia, a breakthrough for research on the ancient Jewish state.

"This is a hugely important discovery," expedition organiser Dmitry Vasilyev told AFP by telephone from Astrakhan State University after returning from excavations near the village of Samosdelka, just north of the Caspian Sea.

"We can now shed light on one of the most intriguing mysteries of that period -- how the Khazars actually lived. We know very little about the Khazars -- about their traditions, their funerary rites, their culture," he said.

The city was the capital of the Khazars, a semi-nomadic Turkic peoples who adopted Judaism as a state religion, from between the 8th and the 10th centuries, when it was captured and sacked by the rulers of ancient Russia.

At its height, the Khazar state and its tributaries controlled much of what is now southern Russia, western Kazakhstan, eastern Ukraine, Azerbaijan and large parts of Russia's North Caucasus region.

The capital is referred to as Itil in Arab chronicles but Vasilyev said the word may actually have been used to refer to the Volga River on which the city was founded or to the surrounding river delta region.

Itil was said to be a multi-ethnic place with houses of worship and judges for Christians, Jews, Muslims and pagans. Its remains have until now never been identified and were said to have been washed away by the Caspian Sea.

Archaeologists have been excavating in the area if Samosdelka for the past nine years but have only now collected enough material evidence to back their thesis, including the remains of an ancient brick fortress, he added.

"Within the fortress, we have found huts similar to yurts, which are characteristics of Khazar cities.... The fortress had a triangular shape and was made with bricks. It's another argument that this was no ordinary city."

Around 10 university archaeologists and some 50 students took part in excavations in the region this summer, which are partly financed by the Jewish University in Moscow and the Russian Jewish Congress.

Now, from The Catholic Herald, a truly offensive neocon rag for which Damien Thomson serves as chief editor, we see this editorial in which it is argued that the language of the Good Friday liturgy should be changed because it is "insulting," "offensive" and "antisemitic."

Also, a strange historical-relativist argument is put forth that in order for the 1962 Latin Missal to be part of a "living heritage" it must conform to the present "legitimate" zeitgeist, which, consequently, is absolutely foreign to, and is indeed hostile to the 2000-year tradition of the Church founded on immutable truths. The implication is that failure to bring the Latin Missal into conformity with the Holocaustolatry of our times, where everything is gauged in reference to the Auschwitz homocidal gas chambers myth instead of the true point of reference-- Calvary, will render the Latin Mass part of a "dead," "antisemitic" heritage, and those who adhere to it, loathsome "Jew-haters."

A Missal for the 21st century

If it is true that Pope Benedict is to rewrite the traditional Latin Good Friday Prayer from the 1962 (Tridentine) Missal to remove insulting references to the “blindness” of the Jews, then we warmly welcome his initiatives. For, in doing so, the Holy Father will send out two powerful signals.

First, that the language of the prayer is offensive. These patronising references to the Jews are an invitation to anti-Semitism – indeed, precisely the sort of anti-Semitism that lurks on the fringes of the traditionalist movement, though the problem is largely confined to communities outside the official structures of the Church. In future, no one will be able to invoke an approved Missal to justify anti-Jewish feeling. Some Lefebvrists may throw up their hands in horror, but that helps explain why they are not in full communion with the Holy See.

Second, the apparent willingness of the Holy Father to rewrite a controversial prayer from the “Tridentine Rite” (as it was once known) underlines a crucial point: that the 1962 Missal of Blessed Pope John XXIII forms part of the Church’s living liturgical heritage. If traditionalists are to rebut the charge that their liturgical preferences are a reflection of their nostalgia, then they must demonstrate that the classical rite is as suited to the 21st century as it was to the 16th. One way to do this is to accept that the older Missal is not set in stone – how could it be, when it bears the date of 1962? – and can be revised to take account of the legitimate sensibilities and insights of our own generation. Then it will truly deserve the title of the Missal of the Ages.

One statement from Thomson's scribblings is worth repeating:

Thomson is either too stupid to realize that the Good Friday liturgy's "anti-Jewish" language is scripture-based, or he thinks traditionalists are too stupid to know it themselves. Judging from the wholly inadequate traditionalist commentary on this issue, one wonders if he'd be correct in assuming ignorance on their part.

Cardinal Karl Lehmann: Good for "The Jews"

Germany's Jewish community expressed "deep regret" over the resignation of the country's top Catholic leader, an activist for Jewish-Christian relations.

Cardinal Karl Lehmann announced Tuesday that he was stepping down as the head of the German Bishops Conference. He will retain his position as the bishop of Mainz.

Charlotte Knobloch, the president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, lauded Lehman for many years as a "dependable and trustworthy contact," but even more for his "friendly cooperation and the profoundly human connection which he maintained even in politically difficult times."

One of those times occurred a year ago when representatives from the Bishops Conference, on a trip to Israel and Palestinian-controlled areas, compared Palestinian refugee camps and Israel's security barrier to the Warsaw Ghetto. Lehmann in an open letter apologized on behalf of his colleagues.

In 2006, Lehmann received the annual Abraham Geiger Prize from Germany's Reform Jewish organization for his contribution to Catholic-Jewish understanding.

Lehmann reportedly has been ailing of late. His resignation takes effect Feb. 18

The Holy Father reminded the 15,000 people gathered in St. Peter's Square that this year the Church is commemorating the 1600th anniversary of the death of St. John Chrysostom, who is revered as a doctor of the Church by both Catholic and Orthodox believers. Because of the power and influence of his work, the Pope added, "it could be said that he is still alive today" ...

If St. John Chrysostom is still "alive" today, there's no evidence of it in the Vatican.

One can only imagine the pity with which St. John Chrysostom looks down upon this man, Benedict XVI, and much more so, the many souls who are misled by him in precisely the area that the great Church Doctor preached so compellingly. What would that stalwart opponent of Judaizing errors say to Benedict of his contention that the Judaic wait for a messiah is not in vain; that rabbinic exegesis is of benefit to Christians, or his raising of the question of whether Christians even have a right to interpret Scripture after the Nazi persecutions?

Dear God in heaven, save us from the double-mindedness of this pope who lauds St. John Chrysostom in word and mocks him in deed to the extreme degree that he does. Would Benedict dare deny that today, St. John Chrysostom would likely be thrown out of any given Catholic seminary before completing his first day due to "antisemitism"?

Benedict repeatedly tells us that Christians have a special "common mission" with the rabbis who call themselves "Jews." He calls them our "elder brothers in the faith." He says that we need to increase our "religious relations" with them. Benedict prays with the rabbis, is pictured in their synagogues and presides over a virtual conga line of rabbis processing through the Vatican.

Let us hear from St. John Chrysostom on this topic:

So the godlessness of the Jews and the pagans is on a par. But the Jews practice a deceit which is more dangerous. In their synagogue stands an invisible altar of deceit on which they sacrifice not sheep and calves but the souls of men. (Adversus Judaeos, Homily I, St. John Chrysostom)

Good God! Talk about contrast. Is there any more contrast between black and white than exists between these two positions? I think not. It is plainly evident that these two positions cannot both be correct. Given that St. John Chrysostom is a Church Doctor and his position has the support of scripture and 1964 years of Church tradition, I'm going to have to side with him here.

Christian Exegetes and "The Jews"

I have some questions for all Christian exegetes who have joined in the controversy of late surrounding "the Jews."

Why do you associate Biblical scripture and prophesy pertaining to Jews from 2000 or more years ago to the people who today call themselves "Jews"?

What proof have you seen from any one of these people who today call themselves "Jews" that they're true blood descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?

Don't you think that basing matters of faith and religion which, in turn, affect nearly every other aspect of our lives upon something so flimsy as a person or group's verbal claim to be "Jews" is irresponsible to put it lightly?

Why do you refer to the terrorist-founded, racial supremacist, Old Testament negating, anti-Christ nation founded by self-styled "Jews" as "Israel"?

Are you a thinking person or a parrot?

If you answered "thinking person" to the above question, why do you parrot the terms "Jews" and "Israel" in reference to people who have no legitimate claim to either title? Because they said so? If so, don't you think that's a very foolish thing to do? I think it is.

Can you see the confusion that you create and the pitfalls which await your readers and listeners due to your unquestioning acceptance of the completely unsubstantiated claims of self-styled "Jews"?

Is there a more direct and clear prophesy in the entire book of Apocalypse than 2;9 or 3;9?

Shouldn't we then be anticipating a people who say they are "Jews" and are not but do lie.?

Are you aware that the Judaic tradition permits lying to non-Judaics? If so, then why do you take Judaics at their word when they call themselves "Jews" and "Israel"?

Would your religion fall apart if you found out that the people who call themselves "Jews" aren't really Jews? If so, would you consider the possibility that you've, perhaps, invested more capital into the role of "the Jews" in your religion than is prudent to do?

Are you willing to leave it in God's very capable hands to preserve a remnant of true, blood Israel for the fulfilment of His prophesy that may not be identifiable to you or even themselves? Or must you be able to see and touch some "Jews" for your faith to remain unshaken?

Do you think that your readers and listeners would benefit immensely if you made clearer distinctions and used more precise language in dealing with matters pertaining to the religion of the Old Testament and rabbinic Judaism; the Jews of the Bible, and the people who call themselves "Jews" 2000 years later?

Who benefits from sloppy distinctions in these areas?

There is one very simple way for Judaic leaders to avoid accusations that they're driving the U.S. into a war against Iran--stop driving the U.S. into a war with Iran.

But that simply won't do. They want to drive the U.S. into war on Iran, and, they want to do so free of accusations that they're driving the U.S. into a war on Iran, even though that's exactly what they're doing. They want it both ways.

It's rather similar to how the rabbis lobby Christian leaders to revise the Gospel to state that the Romans--and not the judges of the Sanhedrin--were responsible for Christ's execution, even as the rabbis' own texts record their gloating over their forebears' responsibility for Christ's execution to the degree that they relieve the Romans completely of responsibility. (Babylonian Talmud, tractate Sanhedrin 43a).

The American Jewish Committee issued an "inter-office memo" on the topic on their website in 2003 and then removed it quickly afterwards.

... Consider ... the following text from the Talmud:

On the eve of Passover Jesus was hanged. For forty days before the execution took place, a herald went forth and cried, "He is going forth to be stoned because he has practiced sorcery and enticed Israel to apostasy. Anyone who can say anything in his favor let him come forward and plead on his behalf." But since nothing was brought forward in his favor, he was hanged on the eve of Passover. Ulla retorted: Do you suppose he was one for whom a defense could be made? Was he not a mesith (enticer), concerning whom Scripture says, "Neither shall thou spare nor shall thou conceal him?" With Jesus, however, it was different, for he was connected with the government. (Sanhedrin 43a)

This text, long censored in editions of the Talmud, is concerned primarily with due process in capital crimes. Standard process requires that punishment be delayed for forty days in order to allow extenuating evidence to be presented. However, in extreme cases, such as seducing Israel into apostasy, this requirement is waived. The case of Jesus, according to the Talmud, constituted an exception to this rule. Although one who enticed Israel into apostasy is considered an extreme case, the Jews at the time waited forty days because of the close ties of Jesus to the Roman authorities. However, once the forty days elapsed without the presentation of favorable or extenuating comment about him, they proceeded to kill him on the eve of Passover.

... the Talmud is here offering a subtle commentary upon Jesus' political connections. The Gospels portray the Roman governor Pontius Pilate as going to great lengths to spare Jesus (Mark 15: 6-15). Although this passage may well have been written to appease the Roman authorities and blame the Jews, the Talmudic passage points in the same direction: The Jews waited forty days, in a departure from the usual practice, only because Jesus was close to the ruling authorities.

Lastly, the passage suggests rabbinic willingness to take responsibility for the execution of Jesus. No effort is made to pin his death upon the Romans. In all likelihood, the passage in question emanates from fourth-century Babylon, then the center of Talmudic scholarship, and beyond the reach of both Rome and Christianity. Although several hundred years had elapsed since the lifetime of Jesus, and therefore this is not at all a contemporary source, the Talmudic passage indicates rabbinic willingness to acknowledge, at least in principle, that in a Jewish court and in a Jewish land, a real-life Jesus would indeed have been executed ...

The article is not entirely honest, but it does make interesting reading, particularly in contrast with the one-sided "dialogue" taking place between the rabbis and Christian leaders: dialogue which has for nearly a century been directed towards rectification of the alleged Christian "teaching of contempt" but which never seems to get around to discussion of the very real and very contemptuous Judaic teachings of contempt. But since when have the rabbis ever applied standards evenly?

The objection inevitably arises that the Jesus of Nazareth mentioned in Sanhedrin 43a is not the Savior of Christianity but "some some other Jesus of Nazareth." The Jewish Encyclopedia dismisses that silly notion handily:

"... some medieval apologists for Judaism, as Nachmanides and Salman Zebi, ... [asserted] that the "Yeshu'" mentioned in the Talmud was not identical with Jesus; this, however, is merely a subterfuge. (Jewish Encyclopedia, "Jesus of Nazareth")

Judaism is Not the Religion of the Bible

From the book, Judaism and the Christian Predicament, written by Rabbi Ben Zion Boxer in 1966:

Pope Paul VI, in his Encyclical "Ecclesiam Suam," pleaded for friendly relations between the Church and other faiths. Speaking of the Jews he said: "Then we see another circle around us. This too is vast in it's extent, yet it is not so far away from us. It is made up of the men who above all adore the one, supreme God whom we too adore. We refer to the children, worthy of our affection and respect, of the Hebrew people, faithful to the religion we call that of the Old Testament." 1

This is not an uncommon impression and one finds it sometimes among Jews as well as Christians--that Judaism is the religion of the Hebrew Bible. It is of course a fallacious impression. ... whoever would seek to compare the classic Jewish tradition with the biblical world of faith and life would find some startling contrasts. ... Much of what exists in Judaism is absent in the Bible, and much of what is in the Bible cannot be found in Judaism. (Page 59)

Zundel jailed five years for Holocaust denial

MANNHEIM, Germany - ... Ernst Zundel was convicted of 14 counts of incitement Thursday for Holocaust denial and sentenced to the maximum five years in prison.

The 67-year-old, who was deported from Canada in 2005, was accused of years of anti-Semitic activities, including denying the Holocaust a crime in Germany in documents and on the Internet. Zundel and his supporters have argued that he is a peaceful campaigner denied his right to free speech.

... Zundel was born in Germany in 1939. He came to Canada in 1958 and lived in Toronto and Montreal until 2001. Canadian officials rejected his attempts to obtain citizenship in 1966 and 1994.

He then moved to Tennessee, where he married ... Ingrid Rimland, but was deported to Canada in 2003 for alleged immigration violations.

Upon arrival in Toronto, Zundel was arrested and held in detention until a judge ruled in March 2005 that his activities posed a threat to national and international security, and he was deported to Germany.

That decision was welcomed by Jewish ... groups in Canada and elsewhere.

Zundel has been standing trial in Germany since November of last year ...

... "You might as well argue that the sun rises in the west," [prosecutor, Andreas] Grossmann said when asking that Zundel be given the maximum sentence. "But you cannot change that the Holocaust has been proven."

Arguing that the sun rises in the west isn't punishable by long prison terms, however. And neither is the denial of any matter of historical record or any dogma of any religion aside from Judaism and it's "Jewish race" apotheosis dogmas in their Holocaust guise, in which case, such dogmas are held to be as undeniable as the laws of physics and enforced by state law.

Who is behind this holocaust denial legislation madness? The alchemist, Pat Buchanan would have you believe that it's "the Germans" who are behind Germany's holocaust denial laws. But that doesn't coincide with reality.

Who has the audacity to lobby the Vatican to declare their own non-Catholic dogmas to Catholics? "The Germans"?

Pope hears Holocaust denial plea

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert asked Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday to urge Christians to protest Holocaust denials, Israeli government officials said. During their meeting at the Vatican, Benedict told Olmert he would consider the request, which followed an Iranian conference questioning the Nazi genocide against the Jews. Benedict met with Olmert alone for 35 minutes and praised Israel's restraint in Gaza, Israeli spokesman Jacob Galanti said. Olmert's request that the pope denounce Holocaust denials in his next homily came one day after the Vatican issued a statement calling on people to remember the Nazi campaign of extermination.
