Dr. Victor Goldbloom is an executive chairman of the Canadian Jewish Congress which was exposed for having propped up phony 'Nazis' in Canada in the 1960's which Victor Goldbloom and his cronies then used to intimidate the Canadian government and justify hate legislation.

Dr. Goldbloom is a pediatrician and politician who worked as a Liberal party Member of the National Assembly of Quebec at the time that Canada's Liberal party introduced legalized abortion into North America. His wife, Sheila Goldbloom is also a strong advocate of abortion on demand.

When Canadian politician Camil Samson, outraged by the acquittal of bolshevik abortionist Dr. Henry Morgantaler, aptly noted the irony that Canadians had gone to war to save 'Jews' and that Judaic doctors thanked them by terminating the lives of Canadian babies, Dr. Goldbloom led the political lynch mob against him.

Dr. Goldbloom  is also a veteran Judaizer of Christians under the euphemism of 'dialogue.'

MONTREAL — Dr. Victor Goldbloom is being recognized by the Vatican for his lifelong leadership in promoting Catholic-Jewish relations.

Goldbloom, a pioneer in interfaith dialogue locally, nationally and internationally, will receive the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Sylvester Pope and Martyr, to be bestowed by Pope Benedict XVI.

Established in 1905, it’s one of five Orders of Knighthood awarded directly by the pope as head of the Catholic Church and as head of the State of Vatican City.

Goldbloom is among a minority of non-Catholics and small number of Jews worldwide to be so honoured, and he joins the ranks of such noteworthy and diverse members as German industrialist Oskar Schindler, credited with saving more than 1,000 Jews during the Holocaust; entertainer Bob Hope; Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan, and Archduke Otto von Habsburg, crown prince of Austria and Hungary.

Goldbloom, 88, was recommended by the Canadian Centre for Ecumenism, an independent Montreal-based organization encouraging inter-church and interfaith dialogue.

“This is an extremely rare honour, normally reserved for ambassadors,” said the centre’s executive director, Anthony Mansour.

“As far as I know, Dr. Goldbloom is the first Jewish Canadian to receive the honour, and among a handful of Canadians of any faith. He is the first non-Christian in the history of the Archdiocese of Montreal and Quebec to have the papal honour conferred upon him.”

The recommendation was approved by the new Catholic Archbishop of Montreal Christian Lépine and officially announced at a reception held at his residence May 10. Also present were Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte and Auxiliary Bishop Thomas Dowd.

Announced concurrently was the awarding to Father Irénée Beaubien, 96, the centre’s founder in 1963, of the Pontifical Medal Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice.

Father Beaubien and Goldbloom, a board member of the centre, are pioneers in combating misunderstanding between Catholics, especially francophones, and Jews in Quebec. They will formally be decorated Sept. 4 at a gala dinner at Federation CJA’s Gelber Conference Centre, which will benefit the centre.

The choice of award, Bishop Dowd noted, was recommended by the Vatican.
“It is appropriate, because what is an ambassador? It is someone who knows where he is from and is faithful to it, but is open to dialogue with another community.”

Goldbloom said his interfaith work began more than 50 years ago, when he was “an ordinary practising pediatrician with no experience in inter-religious relations” and came into contact with the Jesuit fathers who were then the faculty of what was Loyola College.

“It challenged me to know my own religion better and to talk about it with those who did not know it,” he recalled.

Early on, Goldbloom advocated that the Jewish community must dialogue with the majority in Quebec, and must be able to do so in French. Among the many friendships he made, one Goldbloom cherishes is with Cardinal Turcotte, who retired as archbishop in March.

Goldbloom remembered the archbishop’s participation in a Yom Kippur service at Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom some years ago.

Turcotte sat between Goldbloom and Rabbi Leigh Lerner. As is customary, they placed a tallit over the shoulders of their guest as an amicable gesture.

“That was one of the most moving moments of my life,” Goldbloom said.

Venerable David Oliver, the Anglican chair of the centre’s board, noted the historical significance of a Christian and a Jew being honoured at the same Sept. 4 event. It marks the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council, which radically transformed the Catholic Church’s relationship with other faiths.

“Leading up to the Council, it was men like Father Beaubien and Dr. Goldbloom, often working against opposition from within their own religious communities, who paved the way,” Oliver said.

“They are two Quebecers, two Canadians, two men of faith who helped shape the open and tolerant society we enjoy today. Every generation that follows owes them a debt of gratitude for their courage, perseverance and unwavering commitment to dialogue as the path to peace and reconciliation.”

The thesis of this book is that Judaism and Christianity do not form a common tradition, "the Judeo-Christian tradition." They are not compatible ... only now, for reasons of politics and sociology, have some representatives of Judaism maintained otherwise.

While I agree with the learned rabbi in his statement of fact that Judaism and Christianity are entirely incompatible, I must add proselytism to the 'Noahide' religion to his list of reasons that some representatives of Judaism would claim otherwise (even Maimoides suggested that Christianity and Islam could be viewed as directing 'the Goyim' towards the 'Noahide laws') and I observe this 'Noahide' proselytism beginning many centuries prior to the "only now" of 2001 (the date Neusner's claim was published) that Neusner identified as the genesis of a claimed "Judeo-Christian tradition." In Neusner's book, Historical Synthesis, he references the 18th century Brit-ish Rabbi Jacob Emden and his thesis that the Gospels were written to teach the 'Noahide Laws' to 'Gentiles.' Perhaps it was for political or sociological reasons that Neusner overstated his case here. Perhaps it is for the same such reasons that he has more recently apparently softened the hard line evident in his 2001 thesis.

Rabbis Demand Papal Condemnation of Bishop Richard Williamson's Preaching of the Gospel

[The Pope] must clearly show that there is no room in the Catholic Church for purveyors of hate.

Pope called on to condemn bishop’s new anti-Semitic slur

BERLIN (JTA) -- A group of European rabbis has called on the pope to condemn the latest anti-Semitic remarks by a Holocaust-denying Catholic bishop.

The Brussels-based Conference of European Rabbis slammed comments by Catholic Bishop Richard Williamson in which he allegedly blamed Jews for deicide. Williamson, a member of the radical Catholic Pius Brotherhood sect, reportedly made the comments in the latest issue of his newsletter, “The Eleison Comments." He has been living in London ...

[Conference of European Rabbis President, Chief Rabbi Pinchas] Goldschmidt called for the Church to "suspend negotiations with extremist Catholic tendencies until it is clear that these groups show a clear commitment to tackling anti-Semitism within their ranks."

In his newsletter, Williamson wrote that “only the Jews were the primary agents of the deicide because Pontius Pilate would never have condemned Jesus if the Jews had not asked for blood.”

Williamson was found guilty of Holocaust denial in Germany in 2010 and fined about $14,000. He has previously denied the existence of gas chambers and the murder of 6 million Jews during the Holocaust.

In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI lifted the excommunication against Williamson, but the Vatican also reportedly declared that "in order to be admitted to episcopal functions within the Church, (he) will have to take his distance, in an absolutely unequivocal and public fashion, from his position on the Shoah, which the Holy Father was not aware of when the excommunication was lifted."

During meetings with Pope Benedict in Berlin last month, German Jewish leader Dieter Graumann said that one of the issues that troubled Jewish-Catholic relations was the Church's refusal to condemn Williamson.

In his statement Wednesday, Goldschmidt said the pope "has shown a commitment to fostering a spirit of positive dialogue with Jews both before and during his papacy. But he must clearly show that there is no room in the Catholic Church for purveyors of hate."

“We are taking Your Holiness’ call to stand in solidarity with our Christian brothers and sisters in Israel and advocating on their behalf,” Riskin said, according to a CJCUC statement. He [deceptively] told the Holy Father that the group is looking for ways to alleviate Christians' poverty in Israel and to foster dialogue on issues of faith.

Benedict XVI responded that “we need to work together," the statement informed.

Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C., has been named a voting member of two Vatican offices that oversee efforts to teach the Catholic faith and that promote relationships with other Christians and with Jews.

On Wednesday Pope Benedict XVI named Pittsburgh's former bishop to the Congregation for Clergy and the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. The latter includes the Vatican's commission for relations with Jews. He will travel to Rome for meetings.

His appointment to the Congregation for Clergy surprised no one ... It oversees instruction, ranging from catechisms for children to seminary training. Cardinal Wuerl is the author of several popular catechisms.

"I would hope they would ask me to concentrate in the area of catechetics, of teaching the faith. When I was a consultant, it was always the area they asked me to work on," he said.

He was a bit surprised at his appointment to the Council for Promoting Christian Unity. But non-Catholic friends of his who often work with that office thought it was a brilliant choice ...

Rabbi Alvin Berkun of Pittsburgh, a longtime participant in Catholic-Jewish dialogue at the Vatican level, believes his old friend may help prevent future problems [in Catholic-Judaic 'relations'].

Catholic school educators participating in [the ADL program, Bearing Witness] to learn how to teach about the Holocaust and anti-Semitism are helping to build positive relations between Catholics and Jews and all people, Archbishop Donald Wuerl said July 22.

Addressing participants in the Bearing Witness program, Archbishop Wuerl told the educators they are helping to "raise the level of awareness (of their students) of our positive relations with our Jewish brothers and sisters."

More than two dozen Catholic school educators from the Archdiocese of Washington and five other states gathered in Washington last week to participate in the Bearing Witness program. During nearly a week of professional development, the educators not only learned how to teach about the Holocaust and anti-Semitism, but they also explored the history of anti-Semitism, Catholic teachings on Jews and Judaism, and contemporary issues of prejudice.

Archbishop Donald Wuerl said the importance of the program "is found in both its goal and its accomplishments." He said the program helps educators "build on growing mutual Jewish-Catholic understanding" ...

[The Bearing Witness program is] jointly sponsored by the [Washington D.C.] archdiocese, the ADL, the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

"Papal Ambiguity" has a Clear Trajectory

This is a reference to discussion underway HERE and HERE.

The usefulness of puzzling over, debating and discussing papal double-speak is limited. While we 'dialogue' over these two-faced statements, a single agenda forges steadily on a clear trajectory. Oh, it may zig a hair to the 'left' and zag a bit to the 'right' at times, but trajectory is determined from long-term trends, not on short term events.

Now, it may not seem very 'traditional' to some Traditionalists to take first principles from the founding text of Christianity rather than pious 15th-century mystical works or apparitions, but I guess it's my cross to be 'weird' or 'Protestant' in that sense. I look to the Gospel and see Jesus stating the principle that it's fruits, not words, that we know intent by. This is a crucial Christian principle. Why do so few heed it? Why do so many Christians behave as though Jesus taught, "Respect prevaricators and give them the benefit of the doubt in spite of all evidence" or "Yea-no speech should be 'dialogued' over until a consensus interpretation divorced from observable facts is arrived at"? The very presence of yea-no speech is proof that we're hearing evil rather than Christian teaching according to the Gospel principle taught by Jesus in His Sermon on the Mount.

The Pope proclaims in his book, Light of the World, essentially, "Jesus is Savior of the Jews - to pray for Jews to convert to Jesus is to wound them." This is patent yea-no speech. According to Jesus' principle, we know we're hearing evil: "Let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil." The whole of yea-no speech is of evil. To seize upon the yea as evidence of orthodoxy as if the no didn't accompany it is to participate in the same evil.

Yea-no speech cannot proceed from a good motive. Neither can there be any good motive for an observer pretending that the yea hasn't a negating no attached. To do so is self-deception at best. On the test of Matthew 5;37 this Papal teaching is of evil.

Then, according to Jesus' test of Matthew 7;16-20 we look at the fruits. There is no evidence of Joseph Ratzinger in his 83 years ever converting one of these people he calls "Jews" to Jesus as far as I am aware, and I'm an avid researcher of such things. I've been asking doubters to produce such evidence since 2008 to no avail, but it seems a nonsensical exercise. Why would a man try to convert "Jews" if he believes so much as a prayer for their conversion that they don't even hear wounds them?

It's not for lack of opportunity that this man doesn't evangelize "Jews." He 'dialogues' with them weekly, visits their synagogues regularly and never uses it as an occasion to evangelize. On the contrary, he uses these occasions to confirm their error and delusion. The fruits of Joseph Ratzinger's work concerning "The Jews" are of the most rotten sort: not one conversion and mass delusion among "Jews" and Christians alike on this key Gospel doctrine.

Let's be frank, the fruits of the Pope's apocalyptic theology--praying for the end to come quickly so "The Jews" will convert--is of the same lunatic tree that bore "Pastors" John Hagee and Tim LaHaye's eschatology. What is Hagee and Benedict doing when they discourage evangelizing "Jews"? They've made the Gospel of no effect. They've neutralized the one thing that has the power to save their souls and impede their hostility against us. They're buying these "children of the covenant" time to build up Pharisaic Talmudism. How much time? All of it! For whatever time there is left until the end of time we're to refrain from "wounding" evangelization of "Jews" according to the Hagee-Ratzinger dispensation.

Think about this. This is as fraudulent and pernicious as the time-buying "Peace Process" by which an Israeli state steadily emerges on Palestinian land allegedly allocated for a Palestinian state. In that case the Israelis make an occasional token concession and feign a light at the end of a very long tunnel. Benedict's theology is a more plain raw deal than that; there's no concessions and the time-frame, by design, is until the end of time; we're to "deepen our religious relations" with people who're undermining our religion until there's no time left. What of the souls that will be lost, Christians, "Jews" and all, during this strange dispensation lasting until the eschaton? How do we begin to account for such a loss? It would be a spiritual catastrophe on a much greater scale than the temporal Palestinian catastrophe.

What can be said of 'traditionalists' who call this sucker deal--these innovations and their objective rotten fruits--consistent with tradition? Whether it be self-deception or willful deception of others, it's part and parcel of the evil from whence the teaching itself proceeds.

(ANSA) - Vatican City, January 12 - Pope Benedict XVI's landmark visit to the Rome Synagogue next week will open with a tribute to the capital's Jews killed in the Holocaust, the Vatican press office said Tuesday. The visit will start with a homage at a memorial plaque commemorating the events of October 1943, when Nazi troops swept into Rome's Jewish ghetto and deported more than 2,000 Jews to concentration camps, the statement said. Although many Jews fled Rome prior to the troops' arrival, almost none of those deported survived. Benedict, only the second pope in history to enter the Rome Synagogue, will be greeted at the entrance to the ghetto by the respective heads of the Rome Jewish Community and the Italian Jewish Community, Riccardo Pacifici and Renzo Gattegna. He will stop to pay tribute at the Holocaust memorial and will then be welcomed at the Synagogue steps by Rome's Chief Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni, the Vatican statement said. A choir will greet the pontiff inside the building, after which the official meeting will get under way, with speeches from both sides. After leaving the building, Benedict will be taken to the gardens and Rome's Jewish Museum ... It's searing hot, but there's some pleasantness about the stone-flagged path rising from the centre of Silwan, Jerusalem. Maybe it's the breeze, or the stone houses oozing coolness into the air, or maybe it's the wide-open mountain landscape. There are three of us – Ilan, the director, Michael, the cameraman and me, the interviewee. We're making a film on the blatant institutional discrimination against the residents of this Palestinian east-Jerusalem neighbourhood; authorities favour the Jewish settlers who are not hiding their desire to Judaise the neighbourhood, to void it of its Palestinian character.

Even before we position the camera, a group of orthodox Jewish girls, aged about eight to 10, come walking up the path in their ankle-long skirts, pretty, chattering, carefree. One of them slows down beside us, and pleasantly asks us if we want to film her. What would you like to tell us, we ask. I want to say that Jerusalem belongs to us Jews, she says as she walks on, only it's a pity there are Arabs here. The messiah will only come when there isn't a single Arab left here. She walks on, and her girlfriends giggle and rejoin her.

Two minutes later a young, well-built young man comes up, carrying a weapon and a radio, without any uniform or tag upon his clothes. Even before he opens his mouth I'm already guessing he's a security guard, an employee of the private security contractor operated by settlers but sponsored by the housing ministry at an annual budget of NIS 40m (£4.6m). This security company has long since become a private militia policing the entire neighbourhood and intimidating the Palestinian residents without any legal basis whatsoever. A committee set up by a housing minister determined that this arrangement was to cease, and the security of both Palestinian and Jewish residents must be handed over to the Israeli national police. The government endorsed the committee's conclusions in 2006, but recanted six months later, under settler pressure. The private security contractor went on operating.

What are you doing here, the guy asks us. What are you doing here, I reply. I'm a security guard, now tell me what are you doing here, he says, growing more irate. It's none of your business, I reply. What's your name, he asks. What's your name, I answer. It doesn't matter, he says, I'm a security guard. So my name doesn't matter either, I reply. The security guy, visibly annoyed, resorts to conversing with his radio. If we were Palestinians, we'd have cleared the street at first notice. That's the unwritten rule. But we are Hebrew-speaking Israelis. It's a problem. The operation centre apparently explains our man that we're on public ground and there's little he can do about it. He positions himself nearby with his gun, not leaving us the entire trip.

We move on. A few minutes later two teenage girls, aged 17 or 18, come walking up the path. They're not orthodox, and one can see that they're not local. One of them stops in front of the camera. Film me, she pleads. Would you like to be interviewed, we ask. She says yes. She's from the town of Gan Yavne, and came to visit Jerusalem, City of David. Why here, we ask. Because this is where King David was, she says. It's a very important place for the Jewish people. It's such a shame there are Arabs here, though. But very soon all the Arabs will be dead, God willing, and all of Jerusalem will be ours. She walks on.

Two minutes pass by, and an ultra-orthodox Jewish family comes striding up the path. The husband, all in black, asks Ilan: say, do both Jews and Arabs live in this neighbourhood? Both Palestinians and Jews, Ilan replies, but most residents are Palestinians. It's only temporary, the ultra-Orthodox man reassures him, pretty soon there won't be a single Arab left here.

I exchanged glances with Ilan and Michael. We've been here for less than 15 minutes, we haven't asked anyone on what they feel about Arabs or the future of Jerusalem, we only stood for a short while in the street. Hate flowed toward us like a river to the sea, freely, naturally. Do you think, I ask Ilan, that we'll run into someone who'll say something positive, something human, something kind about human beings? Forget human, Ilan replies, I wonder if we'll run into someone who'll be content to just say something nice about the clear Jerusalem air.

Silwan. Remember that name. Its violence will soon overshadow that of Hebron.

What a boon for the Israelis who need so desperately for the suffering they've caused so many Palestinians outside the gates of Yad Vashem to be minimized, denied and forgotten.

Bad Advice From the Pope

THE SHOAH: AN ADMONITION NOT TO FORGET OR DENY

VATICAN CITY, 28 JAN 2009 (VIS) - "May the Shoah be for everyone an admonition against oblivion, negation and reductionism, because violence against a single human being is violence against all", the Holy Father told pilgrims attending his weekly general audience.

Referring to recent commemorations of the Shoah, the Pope highlighted how at Auschwitz - a place he has visited several times, the last in May 2006 during his apostolic trip to Poland - "millions of Jews were cruelly massacred, innocent victims of blind racial and religious hatred.

"As I once again affectionately express my full and indisputable solidarity with our Brothers and Sisters who received the First Covenant", he added, "I trust that the memory of the Shoah will induce humankind to reflect upon the unpredictable power of evil when it conquers the heart of man".

"In particular", the Holy Father concluded, "may the Shoah show both old and new generations that only the arduous path of listening and dialogue, of love and forgiveness, can lead peoples, cultures and religions of the world to the longed-for goal of fraternity and peace, in truth. May violence never again humiliate man's dignity".

My response:

CALVARY: AN ADMONITION NOT TO RELATIVIZE OR REPLACE

May Calvary be for everyone an admonition against oblivion, negation and reductionism, for the crucifixion of the perfectly innocent, infinitely just Messiah of Israel, Jesus Christ; God Incarnate, is by an immeasurable margin the most terrible crime committed by men in the history of the world; the definitive statement on man's fallen nature and need for redemption which gloriously came to many through the same crucifixion.

Let there be no attempts at negation of this cosmic crime through transfer of the guilt borne by the most culpable parties--Judas and the Nasi, Chief Priests, elders and Pharisees--those whom Jesus Christ said "have the greater sin" (John 19:11), to the less guilty: Pilate and the Roman soldiers. Let there be no attempt at reductionism of this unsurpassable crime through attempts at relativization of it, or even replacement of it, with overblown tales of crimes against mere men, ie. the so-called "Shoah" or "Holocaust" of the so-called "Jews." Let there be an immediate end to this monument to human folly. It is less possible to replace Calvary with the so called "Shoah" than it was for the Pharisees to escape guilt by arranging for the Romans to carry out their crimes. This is lunacy of the highest order which befits not the claimed Christian heirs to the incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection and pentecost. St. Augustine wrote:

"... therefore when Pilate, who was the Roman judge, wished to hand [Jesus] back to the Jews, that they might judge Him according to their law, they refused to receive Him, saying, "It is not lawful for us to put any man to death." And so the saying of Jesus was fulfilled, which He foretold concerning His death, that, being delivered up by the Jews, He should be put to death by the Gentiles: whose crime was less than that of the Jews, who sought by this method to make themselves appear averse to His being put to death, to the end that, not their innocence, but their madness might be made manifest."

I trust that the memory of Calvary will induce humankind to reflect upon the power of evil when it conquers the souls of men. Any historical event other than Calvary, no matter how exaggerated, would be inferior to an incalculable degree as a teaching example towards this end. What sane person would consider such a thing? The notion that any other event could have significance in any regard approaching the crucifixion of God Incarnate is extreme delusion.

I say with Pope St. Pius X, whose recognition was solicited for Judaic schemes, "The Jews have not recognized our Lord; therefore, we cannot recognize the Jewish people ..." These are not brothers and sisters in any spiritual, religious sense whatever. There is no basis for solidarity with heirs to the tradition of rabbinic Judaism which was born in hostility to the Messiah of Israel, Jesus Christ, and has remained hostile to Him, and His followers, for 2000 years since. It is crazy talk to identify these people as heirs to any biblical covenant or patriarch. As St. Paul wrote, "But if you are Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise." (Galatians 3:27-29). Today's so-called "Jews," heirs to the traditions of the Pharisees, have no claim to any biblical patriarch, as Jesus said, "... there is one that accuses you, Moses, in whom you trust. For had ye believed Moses, you would haply believe Me also, for he wrote of Me. But seeing ye believe not his words, how can you believe Me?" (John 5; 45-47). Indeed, Jesus described apostate, counterfeit Israel; spiritual fathers of today's pious "Jews," as killers of the prophets and all of the just since Abel (Matthew 23; 34-35). Let there be no more talk of solidarity and brotherhood with such people, and let us beware their self-exalting doctrines as Jesus warned (Matthew 16;11-12), the doctrines of Holocaustolatry especially. Let us pray unceasingly for their conversion away from their anti-biblical, lying, hateful, self-worshiping traditions to faith in Jesus Christ. Let us be good examples in our lives through imitation of Jesus Christ.

In particular, may Calvary show both old and new generations that only the arduous path of taking up one's own cross can lead peoples of the world to the longed-for goal that the will of the Father be done on earth, as it is in heaven. May Judaic contrivances never compete in the minds, hearts or souls of men with Calvary. Calvary is our salvation. "The Shoah" is a method for our enslavement.

The Rabbis' Hatred for the Good Friday Liturgy is Based in their Hatred for the Prophet Isaiah

"Trads" have been abuzz with commentary and discussion regarding a report that Benedict will issue a change in the traditional Latin Good Friday liturgy. So far, no official statement has been made so there's no use in speculating further on that. What is well known, however, is that if such a change is made, it will be due to Judaic lobbying from groups such as the misnamed Anti-Defamation League, the American Jewish Congress, the Chief Rabbinate of "Israel" and others.

As I read "trad" commentary I'm saddened by the lack of understanding of the tradition which these "trads" presume to represent.

The bulk of discussion has dealt with the prayer's focus on conversion and fear that this may be the target of change. I suspect Benedict is far too cagey to make such a move. He needs to uphold that phony facade of conservatism which he's conjured up with much help from the establishment via propagandist, Damien Thomson, and "trad" outfits such as "The Remnant."

What is it about this prayer that Judaic organizations are most offended by? The language of the prayer--references to spiritual blindness and veil-covered hearts. This is highly offensive to Benedict's elder brothers and they say religious relations will be damaged by the return of this prayer. At least one Cardinal says that we can't possibly insult his elder brothers in our liturgy.

Now, you may be saying, well maybe it wouldn't make much difference if "blindness" and "veil" were removed from the liturgy as long as we can still pray for the conversion of the "Jews." But I would say, what next? Shall we also change the passages of Scripture that the Good Friday prayer derives from? Let us look at the Old Testament scripture from which the language of the Good Friday prayer is taken:

And all the children of Israel came to him: and he gave them in commandment all that he had heard of the Lord in mount Sinai. And having done speaking, he put a veil upon his face. (Exodus 34;32-33)

And the Lord hath not given you a heart to understand, and eyes to see, and ears that may hear, unto this present day. (Deuteronomy 29;4)

I have brought up children, and exalted them: but they have despised me ... Go, and thou shalt say to this people: Hearing, hear, and understand not: and see the vision, and know it not. Blind the heart of this people, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes: lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted and I heal them. (Isaiah 1:2–3; 6:9–10)

For the Lord hath mingled for you the spirit of a deep sleep, he will shut up your eyes, he will cover your prophets and princes, that see visions. (Isaiah 29;10)

Let their eyes be darkened that they see not; and their back bend thou down always. (Psalms 68;24)

Which St. Paul makes reference to in his second epistle to the Corinthians:

Having therefore such hope, we use much confidence: And not as Moses put a veil upon his face, that the children of Israel might not steadfastly look on the face of that which is made void. But their senses were made dull. For, until this present day, the selfsame veil, in the reading of the old testament, remaineth not taken away (because in Christ it is made void). But even until this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. But when they shall be converted to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. (Second Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians, 3:12-16)

Jesus Christ Himself expounded on the prophesies of Isaiah regarding the spiritual blindness of Israel:

And the prophecy of Isaias is fulfilled in them, who saith: By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand: and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive. For the heart of this people is grown gross, and with their ears they have been dull of hearing, and their eyes they have shut: lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear. For, amen, I say to you, many prophets and just men have desired to see the things that you see, and have not seen them, and to hear the things that you hear and have not heard them. (Matthew 13;14-17)

And so you see, in essence, it's not the Catholic liturgy that the Judaic lobbyists are so offended by, but the Bible itself which the Catholic liturgy derives from.

Perhaps this is an opportunity to again restate the fact that these "elder-brothers" hold up the Bible only as a totem; as a means of usurping the prestige and favor the world bestows upon perceived "people of the Book" while they secretly hate the Book and do everything possible to make void the sayings of the Book as Christ said their pharisaic spiritual forebears did (Matthew 15;6).

So hateful are the rabbis towards what the Bible has to say about the Israelites (whom they claim to descend from) and their spiritual blindness that they created a fable about the great Old Testament prophet Isaiah where they repay him for stating that Israel had unclean lips, a fact revealed by Michael A. Hoffman.

[Isaiah] thereupon pronounced [the Divine] Name and was swallowed up by a cedar. The cedar, however, was brought and sawn asunder. When the saw reached his mouth he died. [And this was his penalty] for having said, 'And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips'. (Babylonian Talmud, Yebamoth 49b, Soncino Edition).

The rabbis claim that Isaiah was killed by having his own mouth sawed in half because he chastised the Israelites for their unclean lips. The rabbis have it that it was Isaiah who was wrong, not Israel.

And it is from Isaiah that the reference to spiritual blindness found in the traditional Good Friday prayer for the conversion of the Jews comes. This prayer isn't based in antipathy between medieval Catholics and "Jews." It's not "proof of the Church's 'anti-semitic' past" as the Judaic lobbyists claim. Its source is the Old Testament, specifically Moses and the prophet Isaiah! Their problem is fundamentally with the Old Testament prophet whom they hate so much that they childishly fictionally murder him as punishment for his "anti-semitism". This is what motivates the "elder brothers" and their lobbying for changes in the Good Friday liturgy.

And "trads" assume a defensive position in this matter? I say, wake up and turn the tables on counterfeit Israel, as Jesus Christ demonstrated how to do throughout the Gospel.
